Browse mulch blower trucks for sale from Express Blower, Peterson, and other manufacturers on Freightliner, Kenworth, and Peterbilt chassis. A blower truck carries 40 to 60+ cubic yards of mulch, bark, compost, or playground fiber and blows it through hose directly to the application area — eliminating wheelbarrows and manual spreading. GrinderCrusherScreen carries used blower trucks from $159,000 to $695,000. Call 770-433-2670 for pricing and availability.

How a Mulch Blower Truck Works

A blower truck combines three systems into one vehicle: a cargo body that holds bulk material (typically 40 to 60 cubic yards), a blowing unit powered by a PTO or separate engine, and a hose reel with 100 to 400+ feet of delivery hose. The operator loads material into the truck body. The blower picks up material from the cargo area, accelerates it through an airlock, and pushes it through the hose to the application point.

One blower truck replaces a crew with wheelbarrows. A single truck can blow 20 to 40+ cubic yards per hour depending on hose length, material type, and terrain — work that would take a crew all day by hand.

What to Check Before You Buy

Inspect the blower unit — check the airlock, impeller, and wear liners for erosion. Review engine hours on the pony motor (if separate from the truck engine). Check the hose reel and available hose length. Inspect the cargo body floor and walls for wear-through from abrasive material. On the truck chassis, check mileage, transmission condition, brakes, and DOT inspection status.
