Return Policy

GrinderCrusherScreen Return Policy

This Return Policy applies to purchases made directly from GrinderCrusherScreen, Inc. ("GCS") and Screen USA Inc. ("ScreenUSA"). By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. Parts Return Policy

Eligibility: Only unused parts in new, resalable condition are eligible for return and must be preapproved by GCS prior to shipment back to us.

Condition of parts: Parts must be unused, clean, undamaged, and in original packaging (including any manuals or accessories) to be considered for credit.

Return Authorization (RMA):

You must contact GCS to request written approval and a Return Authorization before sending any parts back.

Parts received without prior written authorization may be refused or returned at your expense.

Time limits: Unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of sale, return requests for parts must be made within 30 days of the invoice date.

Restocking / stocking fee:

All returns of unused parts are subject to a stocking (restocking) fee.

The standard stocking fee is up to 25% of the invoiced price unless otherwise specified in writing on your invoice or sales contract.

Freight and risk of loss:

Return freight is your responsibility; parts must be shipped freight prepaid to the address provided on your Return Authorization.

GCS is not responsible for loss or damage in transit on returned parts. We recommend using a trackable, insured carrier.

Non‑returnable parts:

Electrical / electronic components, special orders, custom or modified parts, discontinued items, and any parts identified as "non‑returnable" on the quote, order, or invoice may not be returned.

Credit issuance:

Approved returns will be inspected on receipt. If accepted, GCS will issue a credit memo to your account or a refund (at GCS's discretion) in an amount net of any stocking fees and less any outbound freight charges originally covered by GCS.

2. Used Equipment Policy

All used equipment is sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no returns, refunds, or exchanges.

You are solely responsible for inspection of used equipment prior to purchase and for confirming suitability for your intended use.

Except as may be expressly stated in writing in a specific sales contract, no warranty of any kind (express or implied) is provided on used equipment, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

3. New Equipment – No Returns, Support Provided

No returns on new equipment: New equipment purchases are final and may not be returned or exchanged once delivered, except as required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing by GCS.

Support commitment: While new equipment sales are non‑returnable, GCS and ScreenUSA will support your equipment throughout its life through:

  • Technical support and troubleshooting guidance.
  • Assistance in identifying replacement and wear parts.
  • Referral to service resources where available.

4. Limited Parts Warranty for New Products (Summary)

The following is a summary of the Limited Parts Warranty for New Products Sold by GrinderCrusherScreen Inc. or Screen USA Inc. For the full, controlling warranty terms, please refer to the complete Limited Parts Warranty document provided with your Sales Contract or available from GCS.

4.1 Coverage

GCS and ScreenUSA warrant that covered parts on new equipment purchased directly from GCS or ScreenUSA will be free from defects in material or workmanship during the Warranty Period, subject to all conditions and exclusions in the Limited Parts Warranty.

This warranty applies only to the original "first purchaser" named in the fully executed Sales Contract and is non‑transferable without prior written consent.

4.2 Warranty Period

The Warranty Period is one (1) year from the date of the Sales Contract or until the original engine hour meter reflects 1,000 hours of operation, whichever occurs first.

If the hour meter is not functioning properly, the Limited Parts Warranty expires immediately upon operation of the equipment.

4.3 Exclusions (What Is Not Covered)

The Limited Parts Warranty applies only to Covered Parts and does not cover, among other things:

  • Engines and engine components (these may be covered by a separate engine manufacturer's warranty).
  • Wear and consumable parts such as hoses, belts, tires, blades, linings, discs, batteries, screens, filters, lubricants, fuels, coolants, and other wear items (including but not limited to rubber belting, skirting, tires, hammermill blades, grinder teeth, grinder screens, piano wire screen inserts, wire mesh panels, UHMW components, and brake linings).
  • Failures due to misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, improper storage or transport, unauthorized modifications, or use contrary to operating instructions.
  • Damage to non‑covered parts caused by failure of a covered part, any non‑factory installed parts, or parts repaired without prior authorization.
  • Indirect or consequential damages (including loss of profit, downtime, business interruption, or cost of substitute equipment).

The above list is illustrative only; the full warranty document contains the complete terms and exclusions and controls in any conflict.

4.4 Warranty Conditions

To keep the Limited Parts Warranty in effect, the purchaser must:

  • Operate, transport, store, and maintain the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's and GCS/ScreenUSA instructions.
  • Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance.
  • Keep all invoices to GCS/ScreenUSA current; failure to timely pay any invoice related to the purchase or maintenance of the equipment will render the warranty null and void.

Any misuse, negligence, lack of routine inspection, or failure to perform required maintenance may be deemed "User Negligence" and immediately void the warranty.

4.5 How to Make a Warranty Claim

All warranty claims must:

  • Be submitted in writing and actually received by GCS or ScreenUSA within ten (10) days of the failure of a Covered Part, and
  • Be received before the expiration of the Warranty Period.
  • Claims must be submitted by email to sales@GrinderCrusherScreen.com or by facsimile to (770) 433‑2669.
  • Continued use of the equipment after failure of a Covered Part and before authorized repair will void the warranty.

4.6 Warranty Remedy

  • The sole and exclusive remedy under the Limited Parts Warranty is replacement of the Covered Part(s) determined by GCS or ScreenUSA to be defective under the warranty.
  • GCS or ScreenUSA will evaluate the claim and, if approved, supply a replacement part; all replaced parts become the property of GCS or ScreenUSA.
  • The Limited Parts Warranty does not cover any labor, service, diagnostic, travel, removal, installation, freight, or other costs associated with replacement of parts.

4.7 Engine Warranty

  • Diesel and gasoline engines (and engine components) are not warranted by GCS or ScreenUSA.
  • Any engine warranty is provided solely by the engine manufacturer, if applicable, and warranty claims on engines must be made directly to that manufacturer pursuant to its terms.

4.8 Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Any dispute concerning the Limited Parts Warranty that cannot be resolved informally will be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, with jurisdiction and venue exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cobb County, Georgia, and purchaser waives any objection to such jurisdiction and venue.

5. Disclaimer of Other Warranties

Except for the Limited Parts Warranty described above, all equipment, parts, and goods are provided without any other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non‑infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or trade usage, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Purchaser agrees not to seek or pursue any claim for damages arising out of the purchase, operation, or use of the equipment beyond the remedies expressly set forth in the Limited Parts Warranty and applicable Sales Contract, except to the extent such limitations are prohibited by law.

6. Relationship to Sales Contract and Full Warranty

This Return & Warranty Policy is intended as a user‑friendly summary of your key rights and obligations and does not replace the fully executed Sales Contract or the full Limited Parts Warranty document. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency, the terms of the applicable Sales Contract and the full Limited Parts Warranty shall control.
