What to Check Before You Buy

Start with the refractory lining. The refractory panels absorb extreme heat cycle after cycle. Inspect for cracking, spalling, and deterioration. Refractory replacement is one of the most expensive repairs on any air curtain burner.

Check the air manifold and fan system. Look for warping, corrosion, and damage to the manifold nozzles. Inspect the fan for balance, bearing condition, and blade wear.
