Komptech, established in 1992, is a leading international provider of machinery and systems for the mechanical and biological treatment of solid waste and biomass. The company began in Austria, coinciding with the region's early adoption of separate biodegradable waste collection. This led to the development of their inaugural product, the Topturn compost turner.
Over the years, Komptech has expanded its product line to over 30 different machines, covering key processes in modern waste handling. Their equipment is designed for applications such as shredding, turning, screening, and separating materials like wood, green waste, and various solid wastes.
Among their most popular machines is the Topturn X, a self-propelled windrow turner known for its sturdy frame, powerful hydraulics, and large drum, making it suitable for various composting tasks.
