2017 KOMPTECH L3 SE

This 2017 Komptech Multistar L3 SE combines an electric star screen, a new hopper floor, and three included conveyors. The complete setup gives compost and mulch operations a stationary screening line with less auxiliary equipment to source separately.

Who This Machine Is For

• Compost facilities — star-screen separation works well with organic material
• Mulch producers — separates fines from larger wood pieces for consistent sizing
• Stationary recycling plants — electric operation suits fixed processing lines
• Operations building a screening system — includes a control panel and three discharge conveyors

What It Screens

• Compost — separates finished material from oversize pieces
• Mulch and wood fines — sorts smaller particles from larger material
• Biomass — processes prepared organic feedstock by particle size
• Light soil mixtures — removes larger organic material when properly prepared

This star screen is intended for prepared organic material. It is not a crusher or a heavy rock aggregate screen.

Specs in Plain Language

This L3 SE uses electric power and includes its control panel, so it does not have diesel engine hours.

The hopper has a new floor, addressing a high-wear area where feed material enters the system. Two MGL conveyors measure 36" wide by 74'. One 74' conveyor is a 2013 model; the year of the second unit has not been confirmed. A 2019 stationary conveyor measuring 20 feet long is also included.
