Frequently Asked Questions

Can you build screens for WHO models other than the P12, P13, and P1256?

Yes. The P12, P13, and P1256 are the WHO models we have confirmed drawings for. That is not a complete list of what we can build.

Call 770-433-2670. If we have the drawing on file or you can provide measurements, we can quote it.

What hole size should I run on my WHO grinder?

The right hole size depends on what you are producing. Bulk mulch typically calls for 2" to 2-1/2". Fine or bagged material often calls for 1" to 1-1/2". Coarser applications like biomass or playground chips run 3" to 4" and up. See the full breakdown: Grinder Screen Size Guide

When should I replace my WHO grinder screen?

Watch for output running consistently larger than your target size, holes that have stretched or warped, visible cracks, or increased fuel draw without a change in feed rate. Catching it early prevents a rejected load or unplanned downtime. See the full guide: When to Replace Your Grinder Screens
