Eagle

Eagle Crusher Company, established in 1915 by C.L. Woods in Kenton, Ohio, began with the innovative idea of attaching a small jaw crusher to a tractor's front to process fieldstones into usable road material. In 1952, under the leadership of Ralph Cobey, the company relocated manufacturing to Galion, Ohio, to be closer to Cobey's other enterprises.

Facing a decline in portable coal crusher sales in the early 1980s, Vice President Susanne Cobey identified a market need for processing asphalt and concrete with rebar. This led to the development of the Jumbo 1400, the first U.S. commercial recycling plant, in 1984, effectively pioneering the recycling industry in North America. In 1994, Eagle Crusher introduced its own line of UltraMax® Horizontal Shaft Impactors (HSI), featuring a solid steel, three-bar rotor, enhancing performance in the recycling market.

Today, Eagle Crusher offers a comprehensive range of crushing and screening equipment, including portable impactor plants, jaw crushers, and conveyors, designed for concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and sand and gravel industries.

The UltraMax® series remains among the company's best-selling and most popular machines, known for their durability and efficiency in processing various materials.  In November 2023, Eagle Crusher announced a $1.8 million expansion project at its Bucyrus location, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and growth.

With over a century of experience, Eagle Crusher continues to lead the industry by providing high-performance equipment and exceptional service, ensuring customers achieve their project goals efficiently.
